Hi, I'm Sam Carlson, founder of The Digital Safety Playbook.
For more than a decade, I've worked in privacy, data governance and AI governance, helping organisations understand how they collect, use and protect personal information. Every day, I see the value of data, and the risks that come with it.
That experience inspired me to create something different.
The Digital Safety Playbook was born from a simple belief: if we teach organisations how to protect people's information, we should also teach people how to protect themselves.
The Digital Safety Playbook mission is to give children, parents, caregivers, trusted adults, and educators the practical skills and confidence to navigate the digital world safely. Through engaging online learning, real-life scenarios and our friendly guide Byte, we make digital safety simple, practical and empowering.
Because knowing how to use technology isn't enough.
Children deserve to know how to use it safely.
